Meeting memory

Meeting memory lets the agent recall what a returning, verified customer discussed in past meetings with your team: dates, key interests, commitments and summaries. It is off by default and needs two things to be true before anything is shown.

The two gates

1. Your workspace has it switched on. Under Plugins → PepoSmart, connect your PepoSmart account and enable Meeting memory.
2. The visitor has verified their email in the chat with a one-time code. See Visitor email verification.

Without both, the agent shows no meeting information. If it would help, the agent invites the visitor to verify via the shield icon and does not press the point if they decline.

Where the notes come from

From your PepoSmart account, where your meetings are recorded and summarised. PepoChat asks PepoSmart for the context of the verified email address: relationship dates, key interests, commitments, meeting summaries, and paraphrased extracts from that person's own meeting notes. Raw transcripts, recordings, coaching scores and details about other attendees never cross into the chat. Every access is logged on both sides with the workspace and conversation, not the content.

What the agent may say

• It refers to meetings by date ("On 18 September you and Dana discussed…") and never invents verbatim quotes, because summaries are approximate.
• It acknowledges the notes the first time it uses them ("I can see from our meeting notes that…").
• It uses only what is relevant to the current question and does not volunteer sensitive details.
• It connects a past concern to current information in your knowledge base where that helps, for example a pricing worry from a demo to your current plans.

Turn it on

1. Connect PepoSmart

   Open Plugins → PepoSmart and paste your PepoSmart API key.

2. Enable Meeting memory

   Switch on Meeting memory on the same page and save.

3. Test it

   Open your widget, verify an email address that attended a recorded meeting, and ask "what did we discuss last time?".
